An Afternoon of Fun

Happy Saturday! This has been such a great week. As always spending time here is a blessing.

This is a project that I worked on for Sherri Baldy's Creative Team. I was asked to use this sweet little Besties image and showcase one of my favorite color ways for hair, using Copic Markers. The details of this sweet girls hair can be found here at www.Sherribaldy.blodspot.com

Truth be told I tried coloring just the hair on several images. I had no success! I am definitely one of those people who need to do the skin tone first. Here is what I used.

After finishing the skin I was able to move on. Here are the eyes and lip colors I used.

Now I worked on the flowers, leaves and her shirt. The markers are laying in the order that I used them from left to right.

This is my finished colored image.

I then did some die cutting and built up the layers of the card. Theses are the colors I used. The paper is also from Stampin'Up and matched the inks.

I used clear acrylic sheet and die cut to make a shaker card. Miscellaneous sequence were added for a little bling.

I hope you enjoyed this sweet card. Comments and suggestions are always welcome.

Until next time.
Happy Crafting.
Beth
